Gerry Mulligan was an American Jazz Saxophonist, Clarinetist, Musician, Composer and Arranger.  He was as one of the leading Jazz Baritone Saxophonists in the era of Cool Jazz.  He was also a significant arranger, working with Miles Davis, Stan Kenton and others.  He played with Chet Baker who is still one of the best Cool Jazz Group.  He was also a skilled pianist and played several other reed instruments and several of his compositions, such as "Walkin' Shoes" and "Five Brothers", have become Jazz Standards.
