Claire Martin is an English Jazz Singer from Wimbledon, London, she had become a trumpeter instead of a singer, she would have compared to Miles Davis and Chet Baker rather than Clifford Brown or Lee Morgan.  She has also been influenced by contemporary singers ranging from Joni Mitchell to Kate Bush.  She has collaborated with Martin Taylor, John Martyn, Stephane Grappelli, Kenny Barron, Richard Rodney Bennett, Jim Mullen and Nigel Hitchcock.
