The Nerves were an American Power Pop Band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1974 by Jack Lee (Guitar, Vocals), Peter Case (Bass, Vocals), and Paul Collins (Drums, Vocals). All Three members composed songs and sang, featured the Power Pop Classic "Hanging On The Telephone (Lee)", "When You Find Out (Case)", "Give Me Some Time (Lee)", and "Working Too Hard (Collins)". After The Nerves' break-up, Case and Collins formed The Breakaways with Paul Stengl, later Case formed The Pilmsouls, Collins formed The Beat (also known as Paul Collins' Beat), Lee became the most talented songwriter of the three and solo artist.
