Third Ear Band were a British Progressive Group from London, formed in 1960.  Their line-up initially consisted if Violin, Cello, Oboe and Percussion.  Most of their performances were instrumental and party improvised.  The band achieved some popularity, after which they found some success creating Soundtrack Music for Films.
