Bob James is an American Jazz Pianist, Composer, Keyboardist, Arranger and Record Producer.  Along with Grover Washington, Jr., he is known as one of the father of Smooth and Contemporary Jazz.  His music seamlessly melds Genres for Bop To Pop, from Classica To R&B via elegant Melodies with rich Harmonies and multiple sonic textures, little Funky Grooves.  He founded the band Fourplay and wrote "Angela", the theme song for the TV Show Tax.
