The band consisted of Keith Emerson (Keyboards Ex The V.I.P., The Nice), Greg Lake (Vocals, Bass), and Carl Palmer (Drums, Percussion). They were one of the most popular and commercially successful Progressive Rock bands in 1970s, with musical sound including Classical Music with Jazz and Symphonic Rock Elements, dominated by Keith Emerson's flamboyant use of the Hammond Organ, Moog Synthesizer, and Piano.
