Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real is an American Rock band from California, formed in 2008 by Lukas Nelson (Vocals, Guitar), he is a son of Country Music Icon Willie Nelson, Anthony Logerfo (Drums), Tato Melgar (Percussion), and Merlyn Kelly (Bass).  The band backed Canadian musician Neil Young on his 36th studio album, The Monsanto Years, and the tour which followed.
