Don Wilkerson was an American Soul Jazz Tenor Saxophonist born in Moreauville, Louisiana, probably better known for his Blue Note Records in the 1960s as bandleader with guitarist Grant Green. He worked with Cannonball Adderley, also recordings were done as a sideman for Amos Milburn and Ray Charles, and played in the Sonny Frankin Big Band with Tom Archia, Arnett Cobb, Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson and Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown.
