Hendrik Meurkens is a German Musician from Hamburg, when he was 19, he traveled to the U.S. to study at Berklee and spent time in Brazil in the early '80s, playing Brazilian Jazz.  He back in Berlin and worked in the studios, and had his own Jazz Group, he also worked as a sideman with Charlie Byrd.
