Gerry Beckley is an American Singer, Songwriter and Musician, and a founding member of the band America, along with Dewey Bunnell and Dan Peek, with the big hit "A Horse With No Name" (1971), "Ventura Highway" (1972), "Sister Golden Hair" (1975), and others.  He and Dewey Bunnell continue to perform as America, since the mid-'90s he has also recorded under his own name.
