Hatfield And The North were an English Experimental Rock Band  from Canterbury, England, formed 1972 by Pip Pyle (Drums Ex Gong), Phil Miller (Guitar Ex Matching Mole), Steve Miller (Wurlitzer, Piano Ex Caravan), and Roy Babbington (Bass Ex Soft Machine).  Their music combined with Rock/Blues/Jazz and Progressive.
