Neil Diamond is an American Singer, Songwriter, Musician and Actor.  He is one of the world's best-selling artists of all time, he has sold over 120 million records worldwide, with 38 songs in the Top 10, he is the second most successful artist in the history of the Billboard Adult Contemporary Top 10 Charts.  His songs have be covered by many artists in variety of genres.  He has had eleven No. 1 singles:  Cracklin' Rosie", "Song Sung Blue", "Longfellow Serenade", "Desiree", "You Don't Bring Me Flowers", "Sweet Caroline" and includes his big hits "Solitary Man", "Cherry Cherry", "Girl You'll Be A Woman ", "Holly Holy", "Kentucky Woman" and many more!.  He spent his early career as a songwriter and his first success as a songwriter came in 1965, with "Sunday And Me", a Top 20 Hit for Jay And The Americans, and greater success as a writer followed with "I'm A Believer", "A Little Bit Me , A Little Bit You", "Look Out (Here Comes Tomorrow)", and "Love To Love", all performed by The Monkees.  His famous soundtracks:  Jonathan Livingston Seagull and The Jazz Singer.  He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame" in 1984 and into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2011
