Synanthesia were an English Acid Folk Trio Band from London, formed in 1968 by Dennis Homes (Vocals, Guitar), Jim Fraser (Flute, Saxophone), and Leslie Cook (Guitar, Violin, Mandolin). The band was a hybrid of Incredible String Band and Comus, probably like Dr. Strange, Jan Duke de Grey, Forest and Audience, or in between Bert Jansch and Jethro Tull.

Synanthesia is the debut and only one album of Synanthesia, originally released in 1969 by RCA, remastered and reissued on July 27, 2018 by Sunbeam Records, with a 12 page booklet and 1 Bonus Track. Record Collector Top Twenty Strange Folk Classics in Record Collector in 2005.
