Shoes is an American Power Pop Band from Zion, Illinois, formed in 1974 by brother John Murphy (Bass, Vocals), and Jeff Murphy (Guitar, Vocals), and Gary Klebe (Guitar, Vocals), along with Skip Meyer (Drums).  The band played on the pure Pop Traditions of The Beatles and The Raspberries during the late 1970s and early 1980s with a charming innocence and execution unmatched by more derivative bands lumped into the category Power Pop.
