Axis was a Power Trio Supergroup, formed in 1978 by Danny Johnson (Guitar, Vocals Ex Steppenwolf), Jay Davis (Bass Ex Silver Condor, Derringer), and Vinny Appice (Drums Ex Derringer, and later join with Dio, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell).  Their music was full of Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible!.  One of the Greatest Underground Hard Rock Band.
