The Mother Hips is an American Rock Band from San Francisco, Bay Area, California, formed in 1990 by Tim Bluhm (Vocals, Guitar), Greg Loiacono (Guitar, Vocals), Isaac Parsons (Bass), and Mike Wofchuck (Drums).  Their music from Merle Haggard to The Beach Boys to Neil Young.  Mike Wofchuck was replaced by John Hofter, formerly of The Freewheelers.
