The Spencer Davis Group are a British Rock Band from Birmingham, formed in 1963 by Spencer David (Guitar), Steve Winwood (Vocals, Organ), Muff Winwood (Bass), and Pete York (Drums).  Their best known songs include the UK No. 1 "Somebody Help Me", "Keep On Running", "I'm A Man" and "Gimme Some Lovin'", which peaked at No. 2 in the UK and No. 7 in the US.
