The Deejays were an English Rock Band from London, formed in 1962 by Johnny Vallons (Vocals), Pete Chapman (Guitar), Buzz Nelson (Bass), and Derek Skinner (Drums).  Originally billed as Johnny Vallons & The Deejays, later to be The Deejays.  The band only had two singles issued in the UK but proved to be much more popular in Sweden, where they were based and scored several hits and made two albums.  The band's influence of The Pretty Things and The Outsiders (Dutch).  Their music like most British Invasion mid-'60 groups, and similar bands to The Searcher, The Mindbenders, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Kinks, Them, The Creation, Smoke, and Shadows Of Knight.
