  1. Thank you to Omnivore Records and all those involved in the release of this CD! Having enjoyed "Choir Practice" released on Sundazed in 1994 (hard to believe it was that long ago) I didn't think I could be surprised by this new release. Boy was I wrong! The first thing that struck me was the difference between the early guitar era Choir and the keyboard era. The second thing was the continuation of great songwriting. IMO these recordings are as good as those by other bands of that era (Left Banke, etc...). And, most of all I was impressed by the great arrangements and the polish of the recordings (not disregarding the remixing and remastering). I have never met Phil Giallombardo,Ken Margolis or the incredible Jim Bonfanti, but I have known Randy Klawon and Denny Carleton for many years. You are all such an important part of the Cleveland Rock music legacy. These recordings reinforce that fact.
