Skids are a Scottish Punk Rock and New Wave Band from Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland, formed in 1977 by Stuart Adamson (Guitar, Keyboards, Percussion, Backing Vocals), William Simpson (Bass, Backing Vocals), Richard Jobson (Vocals, Guitar, Keyboards), and Thomas Kellichan (Drums). Their biggest success was the 1979 single "Into The Valley" and the 1980 album The Absolute Game.

Burning Cities is the fifth studio album by Skids, released on January 12, 2018 by NoBad Records. This is the band's first studio album in 36 years, and the first to feature Big Country father-and-son guitarists, Bruce and Jamie Watson.
