Chastain is an American Heavy Metal Band Project, formed in 1984 by David T. Chastain (Guitar).  The band was put together in 1984 by Mike Varney, president of Shrapnel Records, member of the Cincinnati-based band, he wanted to create an output for the talent of young singer Leather Leone (Vocals Ex Rude Girl), Mike Skimmerhorn (Bass), and Fred Coury (Drums).
