Rise Against is an American Melodic Hardcore Band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 1999 by Tim Mcllrath (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Dan Wlekinski (Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals), Joe Principe (Bass, Backing Vocals), and Toni Tintari (Drums, Percussion).  Their four albums were certified Platinum in Canada, while 3 of these albums were certified Gold in the United States.
