Barry Gibb is a British Singer, Songwriter, and Record Producer. He was as a co-founder of the group Bee Gees, one of the most commercially successful in the history of Popular Music, with his brothers, Robin and Maurice Gibb in 1966. His career has spanned over fifty years. In 1994, he was inducted into the Songwriter Hall Of Fame with his brothers. 1997, as a member of The Bee Gees, he was inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and received the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music. He (along with his brothers) was appointed Commander in the Order of the British Empire at Buckingham Palace on May 27, 2004. In 2007, Q Magazine ranked him No. 38 on its list of the "100 Greatest Singers".
