Tommy Flanagan was an American Jazz Pianist and Composer.  His influenced by such pianists as Art Tatum, Teddy Wilson, and Nat King Cole.  He had recorded with Miles Davis and on Sonny Rollins' landmark Saxophone Colossus, with John Coltrane on Giant Steps, Wes Montgomery on The Incredible Jazz Guitar.  In 1962, he became vocalist Ella Fitzgerald's full-time accompanist.
