Soft Machine were an English Progressive Rock fro Canterbury, formed in 1966.  They achieved little commercial success and they are considered to be one of the more influential bands of their era, and one of the most influential underground ones.

Man In A Deaf Corner is the collection album in 2 CD by Soft Machine, was released on November 2015 by Floating World.  Originally released in 2001, but it has been out of print for many years, with a line-up founder members includes Kevin Ayers, Mike Ratledge, Robert Wyatt, along with Daevid Allen, Hugh Hopper, and Brian Hopper on Saxophone.
