Benny Carter was an American Jazz Alto Saxophonist, Clarinet, Trumpet, Composer, and Bandleader.  Other Jazz musicians called him King.  He performed with major artists such as Billie Holiday, Charlie Johnson's Paradise Ten, Duke Ellington, Fletcher Henderson and more!. He was awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987 and won a Grammy Award for his solo "Prelude To A Kiss", and receive a star on Hollywood Walk Of Fame in 1994.
