The Electric Flag was an American Blues Rock Soul Band from Chicago, Illinois formed in 1967 by Mike Bloomfield (Guitar Ex Butterfield Blues Band), Barry Goldberg (Keyboards), and Buddy Miles (Drums), along with Nick Gravenites (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar) and Harvey Brooks (Bass).  The band reached the peak with 1968 album, A Long Time Comin', a fusion of Rock, Jazz and R&B styles that charted well in the Billboard Pop Albums Chart.
