Styx is an American Rock Band from Chicago, Illinois formed in 1972 by James Young (Guitar), Dennis DeYoung (Lead Vocals), Chuck Panozzo (Bass), John Curulewski (Guitar, Keyboards), and John Panozzo (Drums).  Styx is best know for the hit songs:  "Lady" (No. 6, 1973), "Come Sail Away" (No. 8, 1977), "Babe" (No. 1, 1979), "The Best Of Times" (No. 3, 1981), "Too Much Time On My Hands" (No. 9, 1981), "Mr. Roboto" (No. 3, 1983), "Show Me The Way" (No. 3, 1990), "Don't Let It End" (No. 6, 1983), "renegade" (No. 16, 1979) and "Boat On The River", a big hit in Europe and Japan.  The band has 5 Multi-Platinum by RIAA and 16 Top 40 Singles in the USA.
