Michael Shrieve is an American Drummer and Percussionist.  He is best known as the Drummer in Santana and his performance at the 1969 Woodstock Festival, playing on their first eight albums from 1969 through 1974.  He has continued for innovative approaches to percussion-based music.  His numerous collaborations include work with Stomu Yamashta, Klaus Schutze, Steve Roach, David Beal, David Torn and Andy Summers.
