The Grip Weeds are an American Rock Band from Highland Park, New Jersey, formed by brothers Rick Reil (Guitar) and Kurt Reil  (Drums), and Jeff Surawski (Bass), Tim Mesko (Guitar, Vocals), later The Reli Brothers are joined by Kristin Pinell (Guitar), and Michael Kelly (Bass), who are both of New York City's The Rooks.  Their music is often classified in the Power Pop, Garage Rock, Psychedelic Rock,  influences range from the British Invasion The Beatles, The Who, The Kinks, The Yardbirds to the Southern Californian Jingle Jangle Music of The Byrds, and Buffalo Springfield.

How I Won The War is the new album by The Grip Weeds, was released on April 7, 2015 by Jem Records.  The title name came from John Lennon's character in the firm, Musketeer Gripweeds in 1967, featuring Vocal Harmonies like Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young mixed with The Who.
