Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell are the collaboration between two of Country Music's respected artists, and the first time from the duo since Rodney Crowell joined with Emmylou Harris' Hot Band as a Guitarist and Harmony Singer in 1975.  Emmylou Harris is an American Singer, Songwriter and Musician, who has been working with numerous other artists including Gram Parsons, Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison, The Band, John Denver, Guy Clark, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Steve Earle and Mark Knopfler.  Rodney Crowell is an American Singer, Songwriter in Country Music and a Grammy Award-Winning American Musician, who was influenced by Songwriter Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt, and he played Guitar and sang for three years in Emmylou Harris' Hot Band.

The Traveling Kind is the second by Duo Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell, was released on May 12, 2015 by Nonesuch Records, to follow their first album in 2013's Old Yellow Moon, which won Best Americana Album at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.  Every songs on this album is wonderful and similar to the legendary GP & Grevious Angel album that Emmylou Harris made with Gram Parsons.
