Sam Smith is an English Singer and Songwriter.  His first "La La La" earned  No. 1 Single on the UK Singles Chart in May 2013.  In December 2013, he was nominated for the 2014 Brit Critics' Choice Award and the BBC's Sound Of 2014 Poll, both of which he won and he released his debut album, In The Lonely Hour, in May 2014, with single "Lay Me Down" and second single "Money On My Mind", became second No. 1 Single in the UK.  The third single "Stay With Me", was an international success, reaching No. 1 in the UK and No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.   In December 2014, He was nominated for six Grammy Awards, and won four:  Best New Artist, "Stay With Me" for Record Of The Year, Song of The Year, and and Best Pop Vocal Album.
