Cactus is an American Hard Rock Band, formed in 1969 by Tim Bogert (Bass Ex Vanilla Fudge), Carmine Appice (Drums Ex Vanilla Fudge), Jim McCarty (Guitar Ex Mitch Ryder's Detroit Wheels, The Buddy Miles Express) and Rusty Day (Lead Vocals Ex The Amboy Dukes).  Cactus referred to as America's Led Zeppelin.
