Life was the British Progressive Rock Band, consisting of Roger Cotton (Vocals, Guitar, Keyboards), Ian Gibbons (Flute, Keyboards, Vocals), Richard Thorpe (Bass, Vocals) and Paul Thorpe (Drums, Vocals). Their sole album on UK Polydor in 1974, produced by Chris White (formerly of The Zombies and a songwriter with Argent). Their music has been compared to Uriah Heep, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Kansas and other leading 70s Progressive Bands. After the band split, Ian Gibbons who went on to play with The Kinks, Ian Hunter, Ken Hensley and many others.

Life After Death is the re-issued album of Life, was released on November 5, 2012 by Prog Temple, from the original released in 1974. If you like Uriah Heep, you will love this album as it's a long lost classic album. Highly Recommended and for fans of Progressive Rock collectors.
