Coldplay are a British Alternative Rock Band from London, formed in 1996 by Chris Martin (Lead Vocals), Jonny Buckland (Guitar), Guy Berryman (Bass) and Will Champion (Drums).  The band have won a number of Music Awards, including eight Brit Awards-Winning Best British Group three times, five MTV Video Music Awards and seven Grammy Awards from 25 nominations.  Coldplay have sold more than 80 million records worldwide.  In 2009, Rolling Stone readers voted the group the fourth-Best Artist of the 2000s.

Ghost Stories is the sixth studio album by Coldplay, was released on May 16, 2014 by Parlophone.  The album, partly inspired by lead singer Chris Martin's troubled relationship with Gwyneth Paltrow at the time of the album's recording, is a concept album that tells the story of a man going through a dramatic and sudden breakup. The album was released three singles:  "Magic", released in March, "Midnight", released in April, and "A Sky Full Of Stars", released in May 2014.
