Keane are an English Alternative Rock Band from Battle, East Sussex, formed in 1997 by Tim Rice-Oxley (Piano, Keyboards, Synthesisers, Backing Vocals), Jesse Quin (Bass, Guitar, Backing Vocals), Richard Hughes (Drums, Percussion, Backing Vocals) and Dominic Scott (Lead Vocals, Guitar).  The band achieved mainstream success of their debut album Hopes and Fears in 2004, and won multiple awards including The Brit-Award for Best British Album.  The fourth studio album Strangeland, was released in May 2012, and peaked No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart.  The band have sold over 10 million albums worldwide.
