North Mississippi Allstars is an American Southern Rock Band from Hernando, Mississippi, formed in 1996 by brothers Luther Dickinson (Guitar, Vocals), and Cody Dickinson (Drums, Keyboards, Electric Washboard), and Chris Chew (Bass). The band's sound like Country Blues of artists like Mississippi Fred McDowell and R.L. Burnside. The band was released debut Shake Hands With Shortly, was nominated for a Grammy Award for "Best Contemporary Blues Album". They also won a Blues Music Award for "Best New Artist Debut" in 2001. The Band opened for Robert Plant and The Band Of Joy on their concert tour in 2011 and they also opened for Dave Matthews Band in the spring 2013.

World Boogie Is Coming is the seventh studio album by North Mississippi Allstars, was released on September 3, 2013 by Songs Of The South Records. The Dickinson Brothers did it with help of long-time friends such as: Lightnin' Malcolm, Duwayne and Gary Burnside, Kenny Brown, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Sharde Thomas, Chris Chew, Side and Steve Selvidge, Robert Plant (on Harmonica) and others. World Boogie is Coming is the record that perfectly tied it all together.
