Portnoy, Sheehan, MacAlpine, Sherinian joined force by Supergroup consisted of Mike Portnoy (Drums ex Dream Theater, The Winery Dogs, Transatlantic), Billy Sheehan (Bass Ex Talas, Mr. Big, David Lee Roth), Tony MacAlpine (Guitar Ex Planet X, CAB, Steve Vai, Ring of Fire), and Derek Sherinian (Keyboards Ex Dream Theater, Planet X, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Yngwie Malmsteen Billy Idol, Black Country Communion), to appear at next year's Progressive Nation cruising festival.  They'll line up alongside Transatlantic-another of Portnoy's Projects, plus Jon Anderson, King's X, Spock's Beard, The Flower Kings, Pain Of Salvation, Riverside, Tony Hamell & Bumblefoot, Bigelf, Beardfish, The Dear Hunter, Jolly and Nest To None.
