JJ Grey & Mofro is an American Blues, R&B, Soul, Funk, Roots Rock, Southern Rock Band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed by JJ Grey (Vocals, Piano, Acoustic and Electric Guitar, Harmonica), Dary Hance (Guitar, Dobro) as "Mofro Magic" and then to "Mofro" and signed with Fog City Records in 2001, and in 2007 the band changed the new name called JJ Grey & Mofro.  in 2010 Dary Hance left the band and had numerous band members come and go since their debut album in 2001 and the new members consists of JJ Grey (Vocals, Piano, Guitar, Harmonica), Andrew Trube (Guitar, Slide Guitar), Anthony Farrell (Hammond Organ), Anthony Cole (Drums), Dennis Marion (Trumpet), Art Edmaiston (Tenor Saxophone) and Todd Smalie (Bass).  The band's music has been described as a combination of Blues, Funk, Soul, Rock, Roots Rock and Southern Rock.
