Glen Hansard is an Irish Songwriter, Singer, Actor and former vocalist and guitarist of the Irish Group The Frmes and one of Duo Folk Rock The Swell Season.  He is also known for his acting in the film The Commiments and Onces and his song "Falling Slowly" from Onces, won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2007.
