Lightning Raiders is an English Punk Rock Band, formed in August 1977 by John Hodge (or known as Little John-Guitar), Andy Allan (Guitar, Vocals Ex Pink Fairies), Duncan Sanderson (Bass, Vocals), Jorge Panchito (Drums), and Michael Wilding (Saxophone).

In 1980, line-up including John Hodge (Guitar), Andy Allan (Bass), Paul Cook (Drums from Sex Pistols), Steve Jones (Guitar from Sex Pistols).  The two member of the Six Pistols were never official members of the band.

In the next line-up, formed in November 1980, by John Hodge and Duncan Sanderson were joined by Gass Wild (Lead Vocals) (who later drummed with Johnny Thunders And The Chrissie Hynde Band), Bruce Irvine (Guitar, later with Sean Tyla's Tyla Gang) and George Butler (Ex Kilburn & High Roads).
