Gary Clark Jr., is an American Guitarist based in Austin, Texas.  He is influenced by Blues, Jazz, Soul, Hip Hop, Hard Rock and Country.  His trademarks are fuzzy guitar sound and smooth vocal style.  He began playing guitar at the age of twelve and his music icons are including Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimmie Vaughan.  In 2010 he performed at Crossroads Guitar Festival alongdside B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Steve Winwood, John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, Jeff Beck and ZZ Top and he also has performed on stage with Eric Clapton.
