Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) are a British Rock Group from Birmingham, England, formed by Roy Wood (Guitar, Vocals Ex The Move), Jeff Lynne (Guitar, Vocals Ex The Idle Race) and Bev Bevan (Drums Ex The Move), the idea come from Roy Wood who wanted to form a new band to create Modern Rock and Pop Song with Classical Overtones that would use Violins, Cellos, String Basses, Horns and Woodwinds to give their music a Classical Sound, taking Rock Music in the direction, after the debut album 1971, Roy Wood left the band due to the tensions between Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne with management. Jeff Lynne stepped up to lead the band with Bev Bevan, he wrote and arranged all of the group's original compositions and produced every albums. The band sold over 50 million records worldwide.
