The Knack is not The Knack like-named '80s "My Sharona", but is The Knack of '60s Garage Band, formed by Michael Chain in 1965, signed to Capitol Records, their music style includes Rock, Garage, Power Pop, Soft Pop and Merseybeat.  They played at the Whisky as an opening act.  They opened up for B.B. King, Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, Johnny Rivers.
