Necromandus were a Hard Rock Band from Cumberland, UK.  In 1968 two West Cumbrian Bands, Jug and Heaven, broke up, and members from both bands, Barry "Baz" Dunnery (Guitar), Dennis McCarten (Bass), Frank Hall (Drums) and Bill Branch (Vocals), from a Heavy Progressive Blues called Hot Spring Water, and briefly renamed Taurus before they used Necromandus after a radio show asked their audience for name suggestions and they were discovered by Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath in 1972, Tony began managing the group, producer and guitar on some track, and some called their nickname of "Second Sabbath".
