The Bee Gees is an Australian Pop Rock Group formed in 1958, consisted of brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb.  They were successful in the late 1960s/early 1970s and in the Disco Music Era in the late 1970s.  The Group sang three-part harmonies, while Barry's R&B Falsetto became the group signature sound and he wrote all of their own hits.


The Bee Gees is the one of the Best Selling Music Artist of All Time and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 1997.

Maurice's sudden death in January 2003 and Robin died in May 2012.

The Bee Gees Band formed in 1967 consisted of Barry Gibb (Rhythm Guitar), Maurice Gibb (Bass), Robin Gibb (Vocals), Vince Melouney (Lead Guitar) and Colin Petersen (Drums).  The Bee Gees were signed five-year contract with Polydor Records and released the group's first international album.

Bee Gees' 1st is the third studio album by The Bee Gees but its the first album to be released internationally as their first two albums were released and available in Australia and New Zealand, this album released in July 14, 1967 and was the group debut album on Polydor Label(UK) and Atco Label(USA).  The album contained the group single hits:  "Holiday", "New York Mining Disaster 1941), and "To Love Somebody".

Odessa is the sixth studio album by The Bee Gees, and was the group's fourth album international release, and was released in March 1969, and it would be the final album for the band.  This album included hit singles:  "Odessa", "Melody Fair"(from Soundtrack in the same name) and "First Of May".

Odessa is one of the book "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die".
