Getaway is an American Supergroup combines the talent of Joel Scott Hill (Guitar, Vocals later to Canned Heat), Christ Ethridge (Bass, Vocals Ex Flying Burrito Brothers, Gram Parsons), and Johnny Barbata (Drums Ex The Turtles, Jefferson Airplane, and Drums for Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young).

Getaway is probably the greatest and most obscure Supergroup Album and one of the most overlooked albums of all time, with 10 songs and a few of the standouts tracks such as "Bring It To Jerome", "Its Your Love", " Ole ManTrouble", "Craney Crow", "Long Ago", and with a few guest appearances including John Sebastian, Dr. John, Booker T and Leon Russell, Priscilla Jones, Spooner Oldham, Sneaky Pete Kleinow, Larry Knechtel, Clydie King, Venetta Fields and Billie Barnum, Produced by Paul Rothchild, Written by Buddy Killen and Dan Penn.
