Duane Allman was an American Guitarist, Session Musician and he was the co-founder of the best Southern Rock Group The Allman Brothers Band and well-know for playing Slide Guitar.


He performed with Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, King Curtis, Boz Scaggs, John Hammond, Clarence Carter, Johnny Jenkins and Eric Clapton with Dereck and The Dominos on album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs" in 1970 and many more.


He was in the ranked at #2 in the list of the 100 Greatest Guitarist of all time, second only to Jimi Hendrix in 2003 of the Rolling Stone Magazine.
