John Hiatt is an American Country-Rock Singer and Songwriter, he has played with various different styles of music from Rock & Roll, American Folk-Rock, Country-Rock, Blues-Rock, and his songs have been covered by variety of artists such as Bob Dylan Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, Ry Cooder, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Emmylou harris, Rodney Crowell, Jimmy Buffett, Rosanne Cash, Suzy Bogguss. Bring The Family released in 1987 is the eighth album by John Haitt and it was the first album in chart of Billboard with the first single "Thank You Girl", it features Ry Cooder (Guitar), Nick Lowe (Bass), and Kim Keltner (Drums) that later these four reform a band called Little Village.

Slow Turning was the ninth album , released in 1988 after the success album of Bring The Family, with supported musician:  Sonny Landreth  (Guitar, Slide Guitar, Steel Guitar), Bernie Leadon (Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Mandocello Ex The Eagles), James hooker  (Hammond Organ), David Ranson (Bass) and Kennth Blevins  (Drums).  This album became a Hit Factory Album for others with Emmylou Harris, Suzy Bogguss and Aaron Neville.
