Derringer, Bogert & Appice (DBA) formed in 2001, as a short lived Power Trio Band consisted of Rick Derringer (Guitar Ex The McCoys, and The Derringer), with 2 members of The Vanilla Fudge Tim Bogert (Bass) and Carmine Appice (Drums), Rick Derringer replaced Jeff Beck in the follow-up to  Beck, Bogert & Appice.

The Sky Is Falling  is the second studio album by Derringer, Bogert & Appice, released in November 2009 on the label Fuel 2000 and its reissue of the original album "Doin' Business As..." that was the first released in Europe in 2001, was consider as a Hard Rock album with excellent melodies and harmonies vocals and musicianship, with many excellent tracks:  "Blood From A Stone", "The Sky Is Falling", "Dawn Of Love" and with two classic tracks from The McCoys, "Hang On Sloopy" and "Rock 'N' Roll Hoochie Coo".
